Stone Town was a slave trade port until 1873 and that painful past makes it a place to go and learn about the horrors of slavery. Stone Town had one of the world's last closed slave markets.

2. Siem Reap, Cambodia

This city located in Southeast Asia preserves the vestiges of ancient civilizations, a special sense of calm floats in the atmosphere. Siem Reap is the perfect destination from which it is possible to visit the ancient ruins of Angkor Wat that have been submerged in dense jungles for hundreds of years.
