Agustina is a computer engineer and has a master’s degree in computer science from the Technological Institute of Buenos Aires, Argentina (ITBA) and studied at Singularity University, the academic institution of Silicon, and thus went from being an entrepreneur to co-founding Wolox, now owned by Accenture, to be responsible for the regional growth of this technology giant, whose companies include Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
In 2016 she was with the Global Solutions Program at Singularity University and the Launchpad at SU Labs at NASA, Silicon Valley. In 2017 she was recognized by MIT as the 35 innovators under 35 years old and in 2018 she received the Argentine Digital Innovation Profile Award.
Agustina assures that her focus is on generating excellent teamwork, and specially formed in a multidisciplinary, inclusive, and diverse way since in this way she contributes more collaboratively and dynamically.
Effective leadership lies in offering good conditions to talented people, providing opportunities to enhance their skills and thus obtain the expected results.
One of the strengths of its work is also directed to its participation in the Vital Voices Association, promoting the development of women in impact business fields, and also promoting the increase of women in business directories, being part of Woman Corporate Directors.
The regional director of Meta is sure that a vital role of women who are located in leadership positions in all sectors is to be inspiring other groups of women and young professionals and entrepreneurs who want to approach the business world.
This is how, from The Woman Post, the invitation for these referent women is directed to participate more every day in events, give talks, program lives, be a speaker and exhibitor in all the possible spaces to which they are summoned, and even to design new environments where the voices of women take on greater momentum and rise, thus giving value and courage to those who see and listen to them.
This role as role models, in addition to becoming moments of personal satisfaction, provides the opportunity to share their experiences, to answer the thousands of questions that go through the heads of women who are asked so many concerns and why not, fears of time to start a business, apply for a position, look for a sponsor, an angel investor or request a promotion to a senior management position.
What is hopeful is that, despite having low participation of women in high decision-making positions, women like Agustina Fainguersch give guidelines and make a difference to break schemes, stereotypes, and marked social, cultural, and business trends.
